Terms & Conditions

Your booking includes:

  • 6 hour function for your guests (which may include a ceremony, photography session & reception)
  • Access to all areas of the property for your photography session
  • Access to set up in the two days prior to your event
  • Access to clean & pack up the day after your event
  • Full use of the Winery, including kitchen, large refrigerators, toilets, etc
  • Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc (we supply enough for 100 people)
  • Plenty of parking for all your guests, buses and even a helipad!



  • $3,500 total hire fee for booking the property
  • $1,000 refundable bond
  • $2,000 deposit to be paid on booking to secure your date
  • Balance of $1,500 on Hire Fee plus bond of $1,000 to be paid 2 months prior to your function date
  • Please note that in the event of a booking cancellation the deposit is not refundable



  • You have a choice of caterer, or you may choose to self-cater
  • BYO all drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic)
  • Maximum of 100 guests can be comfortably seated (more possible if you do not have designated place settings, or if you choose a cocktail style function with finger food)


Function Times:

  • Functions are held during daylight hours to take full advantage of the views and ambience of Swallowfield. Functions need to be concluded by night-fall (i.e.. approx. 8-8.30pm during daylight savings time or 6pm during non-daylight savings time)
  • What works beautifully is an early afternoon ceremony, followed by photos around the property while guests enjoy drinks and canapes outside, followed by a late lunch reception inside our Winery
  • Bus services are available (must be booked in advance)
  • Taxis cannot be relied on to collect guests at the end of your function


Clean Up & Bond Refund:

  • All rubbish must be removed and the venue left clean and tidy 24 hours after the conclusion of your function (alternatively we can take care of this for you for the additional cost of $500)
  • All crockery, cutlery and glassware used must be washed, dried and returned to the designated storage areas
  • Tables and chairs need to be packed up in the designated storage areas
  • Your $1,000 Bond will be returned the day after your function, once clean up has been completed (providing there are no major breakages or damage)
  • If you prefer, we can take care of the full clean up and rubbish removal for an additional fee of $500 (4 weeks notice is required if we will be handling this for you). This fee will be payable prior to the day of your function.
